Mexican Mint
Mexican mint, formally known as Coleus amboinicus or ajwain in Hindi, is a semi-succulent plant that can be grown perennially. The plant originates from Africa, where it was used for its various medicinal properties. Mexican mint grows up to 6 to 18 inches, and a width of 3 feet, and thrives well in dappled shade and fertile well-drained soil. The flowers bloom in panicles and tend to be white, pink, or lavender colored.
